NOAH'S ROOM AT A GLANCE
One in 100 children are autistic. We know that Autism is more readily diagnosed within males than females. Autism is a neurological disorder impairing a persons Social Interaction, communication and imagination. These difficulties cause emotional regulation difficulties, issues developing & maintaining friendships and educational issues. Along side of ASD - the co morbidity of having a mental health disorder is around the 90% mark. That means that 90% of children whom are autistic, or have ADHD suffer with a mental health condition such as anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, Pychosis , eating disorders etc. The second biggest killer of Autistic individuals? Is suicide. As a parent of a child with Autism these statistics scare me more than anything; and as a mental health professional I refuse to accept these figures. I understand the reasoning why mental health is more prevelant and I can see reasons why suicide seems the only way out for these individuals. Mental health services are not always equipped to manage ASD as well as mental health, ASD individuals are less likely to engage in therapies or to seek help. Noah’s room aim is to beat the 90%. Our charity will be providing specialist theraputic intervention for children with ASD/ADHD, their siblings and immediate family in an understanding, flexible , safe calming environment to support and manage mental health and #beatthe90percent. As a charity we refuse to accept the statistics and we will change them. Whose with us?

At Noah's Room, we are dedicated to providing support for siblings focusing on helping the child with psychoeducation, a safe place to explore feelings and provide resilience.
THERAPY SERVICES
With this initiative, our goal is to provide specialist therapeutic services to support indiviudals with ASD/ ADHD and comorbid mental health
PARENT SUPPORT
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to support our families. We offer therapy to parents and carers of SEN children to provide a safe, calm environment to discuss the daily challenges and to provide an opportunity for parents to look after themselves as well their children!
